Condemning Racial & Political Violence in America
In the wake of violence that recently claimed the lives of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband and of an innocent bystander in Utah, we Heralds of Reason condemn all political and racial violence and remind our fellow Americans: you are grown-ass adults, so use your goddamn words.
As the only Church in America with the value of BIPOC Advocacy, we remind everyone that racially motivated violence has no place among a thinking people. Racial rhetoric may not be violence but it soon escalates. So, please, carefully use your goddamn words.
As the foremost Church for atheists and agnostics, we remind everyone: There is no heaven or hell but the ones that we make here and now. So before making our beautiful country into a fucking warzone, please join with us in condemning racial and political violence.
Please sign our petition at korihor.org, Let us put a stop to racial and political violence and choose instead to carefully use our goddamn words.
