We transform painful lives into lives worth living.

By the Light of Reason, we are all Korihor.

What Korihors believe

Korihor, The Martyr of Reason

Korihor is the legendary atheist from The Book of Mormon.

We raise his standard of critical thinking against the sanctimonious charlatans who destroy our world and who hurt children.

Life is an Emergency

No one survives the grave.

Korihors spend our brief lives working to relieve our suffering and others'.

We treat life as an emergency and  We're Going Home.

The Light of Reason.

The unexamined life is not worth living. For that reason, we celebrate the Light of Reason.

Since we exist and gods don't, Korihors derive meaning from twelve sacred values that help us to flash bright.

The first life that you will change is yours. Regardless of your beliefs, Korihorism is your path to spiritual growth.

Through our Sacraments, we flash bright.

Overview is a compassionate meditation unique to Korihorism based on the experience of astronauts awestruck by our world from orbit.

Godless people are often maligned as heartless. But Korihors care.

To each child of these stars, we say:
I'll light your path if you'll walk with me.

precedeth the rise

We ordain queer people and we need them in our movement. In a time when love is made a sin by the gods and their followers, Korihorism is a movement for people who love intensely.

Who is Korihor?

Korihor is a legendary atheist from The Book of Mormon who was martyred for challenging people to think critically.

After losing to Korihor in a debate, a Christian sorcerer named Alma cursed him with muteness.

Robbed of his voice, Korihor was reduced to rely on the generosity of his Christian community. Abandoned to homelessness by apathetic Christians, he was found trampled to death and his murder is celebrated as a great victory for God.

But there are no gods.

We honor Korihor's courage to stand up for reason, compassion, and truth—in a world without gods, but full of people who can care for each other.

The Twelve Values of Korihorism

Join the Church of Korihor

My godless friend,

Deconstructing God is not the end of your spiritual journey; it is the beginning.

I invite you to start the path toward The Oath of Reason: a solemn vow to spend this life lifting one another from suffering. As a Fellow of The Church of Korihor, you will be a part of an exciting revolution to reclaim our world from the hypocrites and charlatans who have poisoned it.

Together, you and I will transform painful lives into lives worth living. The first life that you will change as a Korihor is yours. If you are ready, I invite you to hear a 7-minute Godless Sermon.

And hold me to this promise that I make to you: I'll light your path if you'll walk with me.
